Black Stars return to training after 1-0 defeat of Uganda

The Black Stars returned to training on Wednesday after sealing a 1-0 victory over Uganda in their 2017 AFCON opening match played in Port Gentil.

Coach Avram Grant took over his side through a training session at the Sogara Stadium in Port Gentil.

Players who took part in the 1-0 win over Uganda went through a recovery session while those that didn’t taste action had the normal session.

Only injured Rahman Baba was absent from training as he was transported by air to the Gabonese capital Libreville for evaluation of the injury he sustained during the match.

Ghana tops the group with three points with Mali and Egypt both on a point each after they played out a goalless draw game in their match played on Tuesday evening.

The Black Stars will take on Mali in the second group game on Saturday, Jan. 21. ##
