The Anambra State chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, (PFN) has described Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra as a shining light in the country’s political firmament.
The cleric who noted the governor’s outstanding performance and achievements in barely three years in office, also described his administrative style as unique and his sense of relationship style `equitable and fair’.
He acknowledged those when he led a delegation from the state chapter of PFN to a courtesy visit to the governor at Governor’s Lodge, Awka recently.
Archbishop Ebelechukwu noted that for the first time, all the Churches under the PFN in Anambra were coming together to express solidarity with Gov. Obiano.
He said this was because of the positive radical transformation that his administration had brought to Anambra.
According to him, in spite of the meagre resources available to the governor has been able to apply expertise in managing the finances of the state.
“And he has ensured that his administration meets all statutory financial obligations — a development that has won him recognitions at national and international levels.’’
The Archbishop pointed out that the governor had matched his words with action in ensuring religious harmony in the state as well as dealing decisively with issue of insecurity.
“The result has translated into massive influx of investments into the state.’’
In view of these laudable achievements, the cleric notes, “the PFN has no choice than to continue to support him.
“We have resolved to give him the necessary support toward his second term bid.’’ ##
