Government will soon complete Atani-Ogwuikpele Road Project — Obiano

The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano says his administration will soon complete the Atani-Ogwuikpele Road, linking Anambra with Rivers State over the next six months.

Gov. Obiano said this at Atani during his campaign in Ogbaru Local Area (LGA).

Addressing the rally, Gov. Obiano added that his administration would provide 21 additional speedboats to support water transportation in riverine communities of the state.

He said he had ordered for six additional water ambulances to boost healthcare delivery services in the area.

He, then, pledged that if elected for a second term, he would focus more on assisting the agrarian communities of the state to boost the food production.

According him, Government has been assisting communities through the provision of funds and offer of improved seedlings and other farm implements.

The Chairman of the Governor’s Re-election Campaign Committee, Chief Victor Umeh said Gov. Obiano had what it took to make Anambra great.

According to him, the candidates running against Gov. Obiano do not have what it takes to lead Anambra at elite level.

“Only Obiano can achieve the kind of feat that he has recorded in a short period.”
