Ojoto, Jan. 11, 2018 — The APGA senatorial candidate, Chief Victor Umeh, says if voted into office as a Senator, he will ensure adequate representation of Anambra Central.
“I will implement some of my suggestions contained in the final report of the National Conference,” Umeh said this during a Senatorial rally held at Ojoto.
“I will strive to make similar suggestions within the Senate, such as the restructuring of the country, revenue-sharing formula based on states not local governments.”
The Ohamadike Ndi Igbo also said that if nominated into Federal Character Commission Committee in the Senate, he would ensure equitable distribution of employment in Nigeria.
“Vote for me for equitable distribution of enrolment into the Nigerian Armed Forces, Federal Civil Service and federal parastatal,” Umeh said.
The Anambra State chairman of APGA, Sir Norbert Obi, thanked the party members for coming out en masse to re-elect Obiano, (Akpokuedike Global) and asked them to do the same for Umeh (Ohamadike) on Jan. 13.
Other dignitaries at the event include Gov. Willie Obiano, his the deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke and other top government and party functionaries.
