A well manicured flowered Garden is a wonderful way to beautify one’s home and environment, says a top official of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA).Such a garden creates a warm and welcoming vibe,’’ Ven. Amaechi Okwuosa, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO), Okwuosa said this on July 8 at Regina Caeli Junction, where the Authority was landscaping a new Park.The authority was also in the process of completing landscaping and planting of flowers at a similar project site at Amawbia Roundabout as well as another site, close to Governor’s Lodge at Onitsha.
Ven. Okwuosa added that flowers help to reduce the rate of pollutants in the air and create a healthy environment.The ACTDA boss also noted that on completion of the Gardens, Ndi Anambra would have beautiful environments that could also attract tourists to the state.According to him, this is in line with the Government’s mandate to ACTDA to give Awka and environs a `Dubai outlook’.
