Gerard Piqué Bernabeu is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Barcelona. Piqué is considered to be one of the best defenders in the world. Pique was born on 2 February 1987 in Barcelona, Spain. Following the Barcelona defeat against Bayern Munich, pique expressed his bitterness towards the defeat.Piqué started off his career in FC Barcelona ‘s youth teams as a defensivemidfielder, but before he signed his first professional contract with the club, he decided to join Manchester United.
