Heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk has confirmed he is getting ready for a rematch with Britain’s Anthony Joshua.

Usyk is about to face Joshua in July when his success last year saw him crowned unified heavyweight champion.

The 35-year-old left his native land, where he had been serving to to defend the country from the Russian invasion, on weekday.

“I set to start getting ready for a rematch with Anthony Joshua,” Usyk announce on Instagram on Friday.

Usyk enlisted in Ukraine’s military in March following the Russian invasion.

A banner reading “Hands off land, Putin!” can be seen behind Usyk in his Instagram video.
