Boko Haram kills eight in Chibok village

About eight villagers were killed and a military base set ablaze islamic islamic State west africa Province (ISWAP) fighters attacked a remote village in Chibok local government area of Borno State, a source said.

It was learnt that the insurgents stormed the Kautikari village in large numbers at seven pm on tuesday and opened fire.

Vigilante sources said bodies recovered from the bushes were burnt.“We have recovered eight bodies from the scene of yesterday’s attack on our village (Kautikari); many ar still unaccounted for as they are missing. The military base was completely burnt down and some residential homes equally torched,” the sources said.Also, a top Boko Haram Commander, Adamu Ngulde, has been reported killed

The Nigerian Army has cleared twenty four Boko Haram/ islamic State in west africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists’ camps in Sambisa forest, Northeast of Borno State.
