The National leader of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki on Saturday, paid a condolence visit to a chieftain of the party in Kwara State, Alhaji Jimoh Adeshina Alaburo, over the loss of his loved ones.
According to a statement by the Press Officer on Local Matters, Abdulganiyu Abdulqadir, in Ilorin, Alhaji Adeshina, a former Senatorial Chairman, of the PDP in Kwara Central, lost his dear wife and child to the cold hands of death.
Saraki who had a private session with Alhaji Adeshina and his family members, expressed sadness over the loss, which he said leaves an open wound in the heart of man.
He, however, charged the bereaved family to take it as an act of God, which no man should question.
He prayed for repose of the deceased souls and courage to bear the loss for the family he left behind.
Alhaji Adeshina and his family appreciated Saraki, for the visit in spite of his busy schedules.
Adeshina, who noted that the ties shared with the family exceeds political bounds, said the Saraki dynasty has become a family, having always shown love and empathy when needed.
The visit did not go without little fun fare as family members and community people received the famous political figure with songs and dance.
